It went very well. They were on time, courteous, and did the job in the amount of time they said. They also instructed me on the operation of the ventless gas stove. They made sure all the required county forms were processed for me. I called other companies for quotes and they did not call me back to make an appontment or they did not come at the set time. The only one that did come was three times higher than Waker. WE felt like we got our money’s worth with this company. We have used them before due to a severe gas leak and they did a good job then. I am so impressed with Waker Plumbing it is almost too difficult to find the words. 5/5 stars does not seem like enough. My gas line had water in it and Vectren turned the gas off and locked it at 9:30 am. At the time it was 28 degrees outside. When I called Waker Plumbing around 11:30 am, I spoke to Steve Waker and he was empathetic to my situation. He had a crew to my house within a short time and by 3:00 pm they pulled a permit, called the utility people to mark the line, completed installing the new gas line, and had the city inspector look at the work. Vectren came out within a short time and turned the gas on. I could not have asked for anything better. I HIGHLY recommend Waker Plumbing.

They did an outstanding job on fixing my water line break in my front yard. Communicated well with me, got permits, and inspections from the city. They dug up as little of my yard as possible. They cleaned up inside my house (basement), where they had to hook up to the meter. They put back all the dirt. They had even separated out the sod when digging, and then put that back down on top. If they had removed the sidewalk, which they didn’t, due to digging on each side of it, they would of even handled a contractor to re-do the sidewalk. They started at 9am and finished by 4pm. The guys that did the job, worked hard, and did a GREAT job !

I had a water main burst at 11pm along the side of my house. 2 kids and 2 adults with no water to the house. 3 companies told me they were 2-3 weeks out. Waker showed up same day, gave me a price and showed up the next morning. They got my new line in and water back to the house in less than 4 hours. Life savers. Price was reasonable and well worth it. Highly recommended!
